Where

In the Sierra Foothills, just outside of Nevada City, California, on the edge of Lake Vera is Camp Gold Hollow. Gold Hollow is managed by the Campfire Boys & Girls, and is an American Camping Association Facility. Our buses pick up and return campers at Church of the Resurrection, Pleasant Hill. Your registration packet will provide address information for Camp Gold Hollow and Church of the Resurrection.

Housing

Camp St. Francis uses Camp Gold Hollow in Nevada City, California, which offers a traditional camp setting, with campers having the option of sleeping on sleeping platforms (decks) under the stars or in Adirondack style cabins.

Health and Safety

Meals and snacks are prepared by the volunteer kitchen staff.

A certified medic is in camp at all times. We additionally have a lifeguard who is certified for waterfront safety and program on duty at all times when children and staff are present at the lake.

Our staff is screened by the Department of Camps & Conferences, Episcopal Diocese of California. We conduct background checks on all of our staff prior to camp.
